Holt's Cigar Company Cigars, Humidors & Accessories Catalog

Holt's Cigar Company is a Philadelphia cigar retailer that sells premium cigars, humidors and smoking accessories by catalog, phone and online, and says on its own contact page it has been "devoted to our customers for more than 120 years." The catalog behind Holt's Cigar Company at https://holts.com runs out of a single Philadelphia address — 12270 Townsend Road — the same location the company lists for its retail operations and its customer correspondence, per its own contact page. That page also notes the company does not sell cigars or tobacco-related products to anyone under the age of 21.

Working down the Holt's Cigar Company site's own navigation, the cigar catalog is organized less by maker than by how a shopper narrows a search: price-per-cigar bands running from under $2 up to $8 and up, shape categories spanning corona, churchill, robusto, torpedo, toro, and a dozen others, wrapper groupings such as maduro, connecticut, and habano, plus separate filters for country of origin and strength. Layered over that grid are themed sections — a Samplers category with a build-your-own option and a Cigar of the Month Club, rotating weekly and weekend Specials, a Gift Guide organized by occasion and price, and a Clearance section — all browsable at https://holts.com.

The company dates its cigar business to 1898: its retail stores page says "Since 1898, Holt's Cigar Company has been selling the finest premium cigars to generations of cigar enthusiasts." Holt's runs two shops in Philadelphia, its Northeast flagship at 2990 Southampton Road and a Center City store at 1522 Walnut Street, alongside the mail-order business. Shoppers who want the printed catalog can ask for it through the company's catalog request form, which mails the next available issue, or browse the same range at https://holts.com.
